Sivakarthikeyan is a popular TV host from Vijay TV and Tamil actor, who debuts as a hero in Marina film directed by Pasanga fame Pandiraj, which is expected to be released in February 2012. [1]

Sivakarthikeyan was born in Singampunari, a small town in Sivagangai district, in Tamil Nadu. His parents Raji and late G.Doss, who was Superintendent of Prisons. His grandfather is a Padmashree award winner for Nadaswaram. He has completed his Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Computer Science at J. J. College of Engineering and Technology, Trichy.
When he was studying MBA at IIPM Chennai, he got an opportunity to contest in Vijay TV's reality show 'Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru' and also received winner award with cash prize. Later he competed in several realty Dance shows conducted by Vijay TV and was part of the winning team in the Boyz Versus Girls Dance Show 2009. After some period he was called by Vijay TV for hosting the programmes. As TV shows anchor, he shined well in media with his sense of humour and turned as actor. He is famous for his stand up and real time comedy.
